I am a Mexican immigrant, español es mi primer idioma, and the first in my family to pursue a career. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a certificate in Women’s Studies from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP accredited University of St. Thomas.
Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of journeying individually with clients of different age groups and have supported adults in the group setting facilitating support groups. It has been a blessing to also provide faith-based counseling integrating the Catholic faith for clients who have desired to incorporate this important part of their identity into their therapeutic journey.
I am someone who has a strong desire to grow and learn and ever since I graduated, I have devoted much of my time to acquire knowledge to better serve my clients. I am trained in thanatology, level I of the Gottman Method, and treating affairs using the Gottman Method. In my clinical work I also draw from different approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Adlerian Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Strength-based Therapy.
It would be an honor to accompany in your journey towards wellness, hope, and healing.

I primarily work alongside adult individuals who seek to grow in self-knowledge, heal from emotional and childhood wounds, improve the relationships they are in including those with themselves, navigate through grief and loss, and cope with anxiety or depression. I have a passion for supporting mothers who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, and have a strong desire to love themselves and others well.
I also enjoy working couples who want to improve their relationship by addressing issues with communication, trust, emotional intimacy, parenting, and past wounds.
I am committed to help my clients reach their goals by providing a space where they can slow down, explore their inner world, and find the tools and support needed to cope with the challenges they are facing. As your therapist, I work collaboratively with you to develop a therapeutic journey tailored to your unique needs, lifestyle, and pace.
