Facing life’s challenges can be really hard, but there is always hope!  Together, we can face your issues at your own pace so you can become the person you were created to be.

My Story

I received a Bachelors degree in sociology from Wheaton College (IL) and a Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1993.  I am a Licensed Master Social Worker currently under the supervision of Staci Mullinax, LCSW-S.

I have specialized training in anxiety, depression, holistic self-care, integrative mental health, lifestyle medicine, mindfulness, neuroscience informed practices, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal loss and grief, and older adult issues.

I am passionate about helping those who desire to heal from grief and loss, divorce, narcissistic abuse, parental alienation and depersonalization.  I offer faith-based counseling for those who desire to integrate it into our work together.  With my expertise, I focus on assessing all areas of your life and then finding the very best resources available to help you find wholeness and reach your goals.  Together, we’ll come up with a plan tailor-made for you so you can move from surviving to thriving!

In my free time, I love hanging out with my family, learning new ways to practice self-care, and jumping waves at the beach.

My deep love and enjoyment of all people has fueled my passion to facilitate lasting healing and transformation in those I come alongside. I am excited to join you on your journey toward healing and would be truly honored to work alongside you!
